Medical disclaimer
Last updated — see version below · Notice version 2026-09-01
The health information on this website is published to help you understand conditions and treatments in general terms. It is not a substitute for seeing a doctor about your own health.
1. General information, not personal advice
Articles in our health library and blog describe conditions as they typically present. They cannot take into account your history, your medications, your allergies or your circumstances — the things that actually determine what is right for you. Only a doctor who has assessed you can do that.
2. In an emergency
Do not use this website in an emergency. Go to your nearest emergency department or call the numbers on our emergency page. The national emergency number in India is 112 and the ambulance number is 108.
3. Do not delay care
Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you read here. If your doctor's advice differs from what this site says, follow your doctor.
4. How our content is reviewed
Clinical articles are written or reviewed by a registered practitioner, and each one names the reviewing clinician and the date of review. Medicine changes; an article that was accurate when reviewed may be superseded. Check the review date.
5. Outcomes and results
We do not publish success rates, cure rates or comparative outcome claims. Those figures are only meaningful alongside the case mix behind them, and presenting them without it would mislead. Individual results vary, and no treatment carries a guarantee.
6. Patient stories
Stories on our patient stories page describe an individual's experience of being treated, published with their written consent. They are not a prediction of what treatment will be like for you.
7. Fees and availability
Fees, package prices and timings shown on this site are indicative and may change. What your treatment actually costs depends on your clinical needs. The hospital will confirm charges before proceeding.
